OK film-makers, budding directors, experienced directors and the rest of you – it’s time to get that short film of yours out, or to make it now. There’s a free to enter short film competition on the go and the deadline is JUNE 8th 2012 – so not much time left if you plan to make that film from scratch.
Here are the details courtesy of CineFringe:
CineFringe is the Film Festival of the Edinburgh Fringe – the biggest offering of Film Art at the largest arts festival on the planet!
Now in its 3rd year, CineFringe fills the hole left by the International Film Festival, programming events and short films specifically for the Fringe. Organised by a small, hard working team with a passion for independent film, the festival’s reach and remit is ever growing in its quest to give film a voice at the combined Edinburgh Festivals.
CineFringe showcases independent film makers and is completely free to enter. It is open to anyone and with few entry conditions accessibility is at the heart of what we do. In three years we have welcomed micro-budget sock puppet horror film parodies on equal footing with slick lottery-funded drama shorts. This year, as with previous years, promises to offer something for everyone – a taste of everything that short film can be.
You can enter your film for CineFringe Film Festival 2012 either by filling in the Online Entry Form or by downloading our one page application (Word Document – Right Click, Save As) and emailing your application to firstname.lastname@example.org
