Get Noticed as a Rising Talent in TV!

Have you been working in TV for between 3-5 years? Are you a rising star in the TV world? Are you destined to be the next Channel Controller or Creative Head? Or do you know someone that is? Perhaps you are more senior and know someone who has ambition and the talent to go with it that should be nominated.

Well now is the time to vote for yourself or get nominating for the Media Guardian Edinburgh International Festival’s Ones to Watch scheme.  It’s an unbeatable chance for rising talent to come to Edinburgh and make the most of the amazing sessions and networking opportunities the TV festival offers.

There are 30 places available (at a cost of £50 to include accommodation in Edinburgh) and those chosen will get two days at the world famous TV festival to meet the great and good of British TV, and join a number of sessions. There’s no better place to get noticed in this industry!


What is Ones to Watch?

Ones to Watch (formerly Fast Track) is MGEITF’s exciting new way to identify and reward 30 of the most exciting rising stars of the TV industry.  It is NOT for entry-level applicants – you need to have experience of working successfully in TV even if only for a few years.

• A 2 day schedule of bespoke sessions & insight from creative leaders & senior TV executives

Important Dates

There is a Taster Session on Tuesday 26th May 2012 at Channel 4 where you can find out everything you need to know about this scheme.  Be quick to apply if you are interested.

The closing date for applications is 15th June 2012

The Edinburgh TV Festival is held from 23rd – 25th August 2012.
