This is a web site for telling it how it is and like any good television programme it should inform, educate and entertain. If it doesn’t, please let us know and we’ll do what we can to improve our ratings! We’re still growing so all feedback is gratefully received.

And who am I to edit this site?

A television producer with a love of developing and launching new shows … despite the trauma that usually involves! A producer of many years experience on entertainment, factual, daytime and lifestyle programmes, the most famous being ITV’s daytime series, ‘This Morning’. I’ve been fortunate to have some of my own ideas commissioned and enjoyed developing concepts and formats originated by others, including Sky One’s popular ‘The Villa’. Dating shows, reality formats, travel, makeover madness, cooking and gardening, music and children’s - I’ve suffered and enjoyed them all!

My media past has included stints as production assistant, floor manager, researcher, assistant producer, director, vision-mixer (a smallish mixing desk but still far too many buttons), on-screen reporter, live studio presenter (OK, so it was only the once but it matters to me!), producer, deputy editor, series editor and executive producer. So I’ve been around a bit, collected some cautionary tales, forgotten a lot of the best bits but at least know the people who will  never forget!

And shall I boast?  Yeah, why not. Along with my fantastic team I’ve also picked up one National Television and two TV Quick awards along the way. (Well, strictly speaking the famous presenters physically picked up the award from the stage at the time – I mean, who wants to  know who actually produced the damn thing anyway?!)
