Are you looking for a paid intern position in the media? Then maybe this one is for you. Hitv needs a Social Media Intern part time to help promote their channel.

Hitv is an African Channel broadcast on SKY 204. It’s an entertainment channel which promotes mainly Nigerian culture and lifestyle but tend to be more open to the rest of the African continent. For example, this month they have a new series (reality show) called Jozi Moving the City - about south african artists in the process to create their new album.

They also broadcast the very popular Nigerian Idol (the finale of which is on next Sunday).

They need someone to help them with the Social Media network. They are unable to provide a permanent position but will pay at least national minimum wage. The position is part time covering  2 days a week in our office. The person needs to be available NOW.

The ideal candidate needs to be interested in Social Media, show evidence of being able to use it effectively and be able to create reports from it.

The company is located in the Docklands (Jubilee Line or DLR).
